We definitely lean toward accepting work that is edgy, unusual and fashion forward, utilizing either a clever technique or creatively repurpose interesting materials.
PRICING: -Have ready some idea of what you want items in your line priced at as a retail AND what you expect to get as a wholesale cost. Sometimes we will prefer to consign the work, other times it’s better to buy outright. it just depends on the nature of the work, price-points, ease of receiving new work and artist location. We definitely lean towards acceptance of work that is affordable and for this reason we do not carry gold, diamonds, or anything with excessive intrinsic value. We do not negotiate prices, splits or commission until the work is accepted and deemed appropriate for the store.
COMPANY DETAILS: -Please include in your e-mailed submission who you are, where you are from, the kind of work you make and what sort of unique process or materials you feature. Please include policy information, like shipping or drop-off services, lead-times for orders, opening & reorder minimums, special ordering restrictions, returns & repair policies, exchanges & willingness to do swaps for unsold merchandise, where else your work is sold, and how you learned about Redux.
ACCEPTANCE: -Please keep in mind we are a tiny shop, packed with items. We do our best to rotate consignors in an appropriate manner, and move merchandise displays as frequently as possible for maximum exposure and visibility. Also, we cannot accommodate every artist inquiry, but do keep a wait-list for consideration, and check it when we do rotations every month or two. Your patience is essential, it might take awhile before we can make room for a new vendor or consignor.
