PICTURES: -Take pictures of your work for submission! If you do not already have a collection viewable online somewhere that you can send us a link to, please take some close-up pictures that clearly illustrate the size, detail in the piece, and variety of subject. It’s a good idea to upload them onto one of many free photo sites out there like Flickr. We do not solely accept work that involves recycling or creatively repurposing materials, but it is definitely factored into the final decision. PLEASE NOTE: FOR FIRST FRIDAY FEATURED EXHIBITIONS WE ONLY ACCEPT LOCAL ARTISTS.

PRICING: -Have ready some idea of what you expect to get as a wholesale cost. We do not negotiate prices, splits or commission percentages until the work is accepted and deemed appropriate for the store. At that point the pricing negotiation begins.

ARTIST BIO: -Please include in your e-mailed submission who you are, where you are from, the kind of work you make and what sort of process or materials you specialize in. A bit about educational background or training, as well as other featured exhibitions you may have participated in is also useful.

ACCEPTANCE: -Please keep in mind the selection process is highly subjective and generally based on the owners taste and interests. There is a particular funk and flavor we look for, which can be difficult to describe. If a certain body of work is not quite what we’re looking for now, please do not hesitate to keep us updated with new work and submissions in the future, as we tend to evolve just as much as you do with our taste and interests.
